Truck Company 29 was established on February 8, 1954 at its' current location of 1201
East Coldspring Lane, in Northeast Baltimore City. Truck 29 was not placed in active
service until February 26th. The quarters were built for Truck 29 and Engine 4 was added
on February 26th due to the age of their quarters which was built in 1882.

The first Captain of Truck 29 was Elmer P. Dunn formerly of Truck 18.

1st Truck was a 1954 Peter Pirsch with a 85 ft. steel ladder  which was manufactured out of
Kenosha Wisconsin.

2nd Truck was a 1967 American LaFrance 100 ft. ladder.

3rd Truck was a 1974 Seagrave  and was later sent to Truck 3.

4th Truck was a 1971 Seagrave that was purchased  as an used ladder truck from
Leesburg, VA with the help of Joe Cole of Truck 29.

5th Truck and current is a 1995 Simon/Duplex 100 ft. LTI ladder wich was Purchased New
